We designed a high-standard staff housing complex for diplomats and their families, offering a sustainable and secure environment to experience life in Brasília. The houses are integrated into the city’s urban fabric, forming a gated residential area that ensures privacy and safety.
Each residence follows a thoughtful spatial composition: a long, two-story volume houses the private and service areas, intersected by a lower volume that contains the social spaces. To enhance privacy within the compound, circulation paths face the main façade, while the private suites open onto individual rear gardens.
Corten steel façades are custom-designed for each house, responding to solar orientation and site-specific conditions. Garden fences alternate between opaque panels for private areas and perforated screens for social zones, balancing transparency and discretion throughout the complex.
